‘Hats For You’ was started in 1994. We have some 400 hats in the collection, which is updated each year around January when the new season’s hats are available. We have hats in all colours, styles, sizes (large and small) and in a variety of materials. Although at the moment there is a predominance of sinamay with silk and feather trims. The average price of hiring a hat is £35 - £45, although some are more and some are less. The retail price of each of my hats is between £100 and £250, so you will be getting a beautiful hat for your money. A deposit is required whilst the hat is in your possession. If I am unable to match the colour of your outfit with a hat, I have feathers, which can be dyed to match and they can then be added to a hat of a contrasting colour so it all ties in. I also have a selection of small handbags in many different colours, which are available to hire or to buy. Hiring a bag costs £5. Purchase prices vary. I also make fascinators to order.
Prices start from £40 and there are some examples of styles
opposite. These can all be
adapted to your personal preference.
I will need about two weeks to make one as the sinamay and feathers
may need to be ordered. They can
be made in whatever colour or colours you wish with matching or contrasting
feathers, or even no feathers! Please take a look at the hats on the next two pages – I have not by any means put all of them on as it would take up too much space, but have tried to put a variety so that you can get an idea of what is available.
